Friis-Holm calls La Dalia chocolates 'The Lazy Cocoa Growers Blend' because it is a blend of different types of cocoa beans. When Friis-Holm asked the farmers to sort the beans into the different varieties, they said no! As a friendly joke, Friis-Holm thought it was a bit lazy! But luckily this blend produces an absolutely fantastic chocolate of many different kinds.
La Dalia 100% is in the same series as La Dalia 60%, La Dalia 70% and La Dalia 85%.
La Dalia 100% is a very acidic chocolate with a mineral character.
La Dalia 100% won a gold medal at the 2023 International Chocolate Awards in the "Best 100%" category.
