A very nice Vintage Champagne from 2013, which was a really good vintage in Champagne. In this vintage, the wine consists of 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Pinot Meunier, which gives the wine an extra kick of soft and lovely fruit.
The grapes for this fantastic Champagne come from the best grand cru vineyards in Champagne, as well as a small proportion from top premier cru vineyards. Vinified in steel tanks, and only a modest dosage (sugar liqueur) of 3 g/l is added, which indicates how superior the grape material for this wine has been.
In the glass, Vintage 2013 appears clear yellow with a slight golden hue. Intense bubbles and rich and creamy mousse. Elegant with a clean aroma of peaches, nuts and citrus, which transitions into marzipan, fresh pineapple and yellow-green plums. The taste is dominated by white and yellow stone fruits, mandarin peel and citrus. A dry, harmonious Champagne with great aging potential.
