10th anniversary rum from Mexico, Deadhead Rum was founded in 2011 and immediately after, a unique single blend of rum was set aside to be used for a whole special occasion. After 10 years of aging in fine oak barrels, the rum has developed into a full-bodied and complex rum. What better rum than this to celebrate their 10th anniversary? Here you get an amber colored glass bottle with a copper colored label.
It has a dark appearance, aromas of molasses, coffee, cola, chocolate, hazelnut, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. They are elegantly combined on the palate with notes of anise and caramel, resulting in a perfect balance. Delicious finish with an explosion of aromas and flavor nuances - ideal to enjoy neat.
Deadhead 10 Year Old Rum is produced in limited quantities with no added sugar, flavouring or colouring. After distillation, it rests in selected oak casks for 10 years. After bottling, each bottle is hand numbered and personally signed by the master distiller.
On the palate it is rich, intense and full-bodied with cane sugar in the foreground, followed by notes of tobacco. The finish is rich and medium dry with oak, vanilla and leather.
