Description:
It was a big day for cocktail geeks when Plantation Pineapple first saw the light of day. What sets this "spiced" rum apart from others in the genre is the way it is made. No artificial flavors are added here – instead, it is carefully produced according to an old recipe for pineapple rum from the 1800s. The white rum, Plantation 3 Stars, is infused with the "bark" of the small, sweet Victoria pineapples and the infusion is subsequently distilled. Meanwhile, the pineapple flesh is placed in Plantation Original Dark and this is mixed with the distilled infusion. This gives you both an incredible (and above all natural) pineapple aroma and a wonderful but balanced sweetness. Your daiquiris will never be the same!
Colour: Dark golden.
Scent: PINEAPPLE! Behind the fruit, warm spices such as cloves and cardamom are felt.
Tasting notes: Fruity and sweet, but without the sweetness being excessive. Here we once again find pineapple, as well as cinnamon sugar and maracujá.
