OFTD stands for "Old Fashioned Traditional Dark" - although someone has suggested the alternative interpretation, "Oh Fuck, That's Delicious". It is a modern take on an old-fashioned overproof rum, and to create the right mix, Alexandre Gabriel had to enlist some of the spirits industry's most seasoned rum geeks. The panel included tiki experts Jeff Berry and Martin Cate and cocktail historian David Wondrich, among others, and the final mix was composed of rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados.

Aroma: Toasted coconut, brown sugar, vanilla and ripe bananas.
Tasting notes: The alcohol percentage does not deny itself in the mouth. Strong taste of coconut, molasses and chocolate.
