We ship orders in approved packaging, which means that the risk of broken bottles is kept to a minimum. However, should the accident happen, GLS will return the package to us before it is delivered to you. We will then send you a new order at no extra charge.

Macallan has launched Rare Cask 2023 Release - a single malt whiskey created by Macallan's Whiskey Maker by selecting the unique oak casks that give the characteristic and complex flavor profile of a real Macallan Whisky. European oak casks are matured with the finest Olorosso sherry and carefully selected by The Macallan Whiskey Maker Team using their knowledge, skill, passion and creativity in their quest to find the extraordinary.
Smell and taste
The selected casks from The Macallan give a deep ruby mahogany color and show an intense sweet rose note combined with a rich velvety soft taste in the mouth. The oak casks give an intense and very complex flavor profile, followed by a sweet taste of fresh apple, lemon and orange. Intense sweet raisin flavor dominates the palate before giving way to vanilla and dark chocolate, with layers of light citrus peel. The finish is long, rich and velvety and offers a decadent whiskey experience that leaves a long and lasting taste impression.
Rare Cask 2023
The Macallan Rare Cask 2023 is created from 16 different cask types – the widest range of cask profiles ever in a single The Macallan whisky. It provides a taste experience that is quite without comparison. Carefully individually selected casks give the whiskey its distinctive character, as fewer than 1% of The Macallan's casks achieve the exquisite honor of being selected to bear the Rare Cask name.
