Cuvée Abyss is a champagne with a certain maritime character that has benefited from being matured on the bottom of the sea. To taste it is to discover and appreciate the same mineral qualities found in the chalky and sandy soils of the Champagne terroir where it originated.

Very limited quantities
This is now the third release based on wine from the 2016 harvest, blended and bottled in spring 2019, disgorged in early summer 2019 and then on to Brittany where it spent just over 12 months at a depth of 60 meters before being picked up in autumn 2020 .The grapes that make up this cuvée were harvested from selected Champagne villages known for their specific limestone sub- environment. 34% Pinot Noir, 33% Pinot Meunier and 33% Chardonnay.

This Champagne is produced by the champagne house Leclerc Briant. It has spent 12 months at the bottom of the sea at a depth of 60 meters... Experience a beautiful golden color that together with fine bubbles contains berry notes that become mineral in the middle of the palate.
