This is a unique tequila with a very special character. It has a mild and soft taste with notes of vanilla, pepper, spices and chocolate as well as floral nuances which make it a real experience to enjoy pure.

Tequila from Fortaleza is made by a man who comes from a family with a long history deeply rooted in tequila production in Mexico and its distribution to the rest of the world. Guillermo Erickson Sauza is the man behind Fortaleza.Guillermo's great-great grandfather created Sauza Tequila over 100 years ago, but the brand was sold years ago. The long history, however, gives Guillermo a unique knowledge and experience that has created one of the world's best tequilas recognized worldwide.
THE PRODUCTION
Tequila Fortaleza Reposado is one of the world's best tequilas, which is made according to the classic traditional methods, from harvesting the agave plant to bottling.The agave fruits are baked in a stone oven and then crushed in the traditional tahoa. The bottle is handmade and mouth blown. The fermentation process takes place in open wooden barrels. It is aged for 6-9 months in oak barrels. Produced according to completely traditional methods, which tequila has been produced by for hundreds of years, it gives it a very special character in aroma and taste.

Aromas of citrus, caramel, butter, cooked agave and sage are the beginning of a pleasantly balanced and very unique taste experience. Fortaleza Reposado has its own distinct character and is not like any other tequila.The taste includes cooked agave, citrus, vanilla, apple, earth and cinnamon.
