First created in 1976 by the 5th generation of the Krug family.
Krug Rosé is an unexpected champagne, inspired by the house's famous skill in blending , and is recreated every year.
Created around fall 2017
A year that started cold until mild spring weather woke the vines up prematurely. The region suffered a 20% fruit loss due to spring frosts and heavy summer showers.
Dry and warm weather saved the remaining grapes, which were harvested during the period August 25 to September 15 .
A balance between substance and finesse
The core of the blend are the wines from 2017, which express generous fruit in all its nuances – yellow and red, tart or jammy. At the same time, reserve wines from 4 other years add depth, body and a soft, velvety texture in the mouth.
