The combination of exquisite Chardonnay grapes and fantastic winemaking. The grapes for Blanc des millénaires are selected from just 5 communes in the Côte de Blanc. Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger for fullness and balance, Cramant for complexity, Avize for freshness and minerality, Oger for creamy fruit and weight and Vertus for its floral elegance.
Tightly packed scent of citrus and ripe lime, spring flowers and ripe peaches that slowly give way to notes of brioche and freshly baked pie crust. Great fullness in the fruit dominated flavor with fresh acidity and a chalky, penetrating finish. A Champagne that can be drunk young but will mature with grace over the next several years.
