Rich, soft and refreshing with great complexity. Delicate aromas of light fruit such as peach and white pear that slide into brioche and freshly baked bread backed by notes of citrus and lime. Medium to full-bodied with creamy mouth fullness and lively acidity and a mineral aftertaste.
Charles Heidsieck Brut Resérve is composed of reserve wines from the Grand Cru municipality of Mesnil-Sur-Oger, from which the Chardonnay grapes give it fullness and generosity. Ambonnay Grand Cru Pinot Noir that gives power, structure and a delicate red fruit note. Verneuil Pinot Meunier that gives balance and creamy texture. Reserve wines mature an average of 10 years in tanks and Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve matures a further 7 years in the bottle before release.
The grape composition is 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier.

It greets you with a lovely emerging toastiness and spice-laden fruitiness that is bright and pure despite the challenging base vintage. The palate is staying fresh and youthful, with a firmness to it. The finish is sweetly fruity, with exotic fruit notes adding to the deliciousness.
