After overcoming a year of unpredictable weather, Dom Pérignon's vineyards produced exceptional grapes in 2012. From delicate and fresh Chardonnay to firm and fruity Pinot Noir, this is a wonderful vintage Champagne that will age exceptionally well.
Intense flavors and contrasts give a multi-dimensional vintage, called "explosive harmony" by the House. It balances with complex acidity with a well-rounded ripeness and exuberant synergy between two very different grape varieties that will challenge and seduce the taste.

The weather in 2012
Relatively low yields due to different weather conditions throughout the year. The winter months brought some frost and hail which damaged the early stages of budding. August and September were very warm and this helped to save and give the grapes a great maturity.
