Sherry Oak 25 years 2021 Release 70 cl. 43% with wooden box

This is a Scotch single malt whisky. And it is one of the category's great classics, with an aura of "the old Macallan". It is aged exclusively in so-called "sherry seasoned" oak casks from Jerez. Full-bodied, soft and deep – and a whiskey that all whiskey geeks should taste at least once.

Flavor and depth
This particular single malt delivers an intense, full and rich flavor with dried fruit and a hint of wood smoke. In the nose you sense citrus, balanced with cinnamon, sherry and wood smoke. The aftertaste is long and dominated by dried fruit, wood smoke and spices.

The distillery
An obsession with quality has characterized The Macallan since its founding by Alexander Reid on a plateau above the River Spey in north-east Scotland. The distillery is surrounded by a 485 hectare estate with Easter Elchies House at its heart.
