The journey began in 2009, when father, a chemist, and son, a gin enthusiast, joined forces to make the best gin ever. To create a beautifully balanced London Dry Gin, they developed a recipe with 10 different dry and fresh botanical herbs and spices. Geranium gin is made by Hammer & Son, which also has the Old English brand.
The ingredients lie and soak for 48 hours in neutral grain spirit. The mixture is then distilled in the so-called "Constance". Constance is a more than 100-year-old copper pot still, located in Birmingham, England, at the recognized distillery, Langley Distillery. Each batch is monitored and quality checked by Rob, who is an experienced and recognized Master Distiller.
The process is uncompromising and has resulted in an extremely fantastic gin. A gin that is enjoyed all over the world and has won countless awards for its complexity and perfect match for different drinks. Undoubtedly every bartender's true darling!

Danish sustainable production
Hammer & Son, which is behind i.a. Geranium Gin has taken sustainability to new heights with the purchase of Vintre Møller, located in central Zealand. Owner, Henrik Hammer's new mission is to create a great Danish brand. Here he has released 16 new spirits, which must be as sustainable as possible.
The goal is for the ingredients to be grown on the facility's own grounds, the power will come from the mill as well as solar energy from solar cells on the facility's roof. Ingredients that are not possible to grow yourself are bought from surrounding local farmers and dealers. In addition, they will exclusively use local labor and local materials for the renovation of the mill house.
In short, a magnanimous and beautiful project from Henrik Hammer, who wants to make a difference and be a pioneer in the spirits industry in terms of sustainability.
